This page is dedicated to my parents who allowed me to pursue my dreams with the Arabian horse as a young girl and to my husband Steve who shares with me daily the passion for the Straight Egyptian Arabian Horse.

Throughout the magical, versatile Arabian horse decade of the 70's, continuing into the 80's, 90's and presently into the new millennium, the Arabian horse has forever been a part of my life. From the time I was a young girl, like so many other horse crazy kids, I had an unrelenting desire to be around, touch, and smell horses! At the age of ten, I convinced my Dad to go with me to see a pretty little black mare that was offered for sale. Totally unaware that she was half Arabian, I perceived her as the most beautiful horse in the world and was drawn to her instantly. She later became a generous gift to me from my parents igniting a life long commitment and interest in the Arabian horse. Throughout the years, many more exciting Arabians followed. The most impressionable was a proud and spirited, grey purebred gelding named Ibn Safir, who not only furthered my love and appreciation for the Arabian horse, but gave me great insight into the inherent characteristics and qualities that define the Arabian breed. Being involved during those early years was truly a special and magical time filled with wonderful friends and many memorable horses.

In 1991, intrigued by their rarity and beauty, my husband and I decided to breed Straight Egyptian Arabians. Small breeders producing only a few foals each year, we selectively breed our mares based on the availability of the stallion best suited for each individual mare. Therefore we do not stand a stallion, but rather utilize the broad market when combining the phenotype and genotype of each sire and dam. Our program is based largely on combining the blood of Morafic through The Egyptian Prince and Ruminaja Ali with the bloodlines of Ansata Ibn Halima. The results are individuals with elegance, refinement, and classic Arabian type. Passionate like many, we continually strive to breed the best we can while remaining dedicated to the education and patience one must commit and diligent in our responsibility for the life we have created.

The horses are a constant reminder to us of the simpler ways of life. The first nicker from mare to foal signals to us how small we are in nature's bigger scheme. We feel privileged to share our daily lives with the Straight Egyptian Arabian, for it is a unique and magnificent animal with ancestral roots tied to a romantic and ancient history.

An unknown author quotes, "We are shaped and fashioned by what we love." It is our belief that the horses have shaped all of us for the better.
